As Sinasos Houses, it is our goal to ensure that our guests benefit from the natural and cultural assets in this unique geography while considering the balance between protection and utilization. We try to protect our environment and biodiversity, contribute to local development and employment, protect our cultural and historical heritage and minimize use of limited and non-renewable resources.
We care to preserve the unique architectural texture and cultural richness of Mustafapaşa, which was declared “The World’s Best Tourism Village” by the World Tourism Organization in 2021. Beyaz Konak (White Mansion), one of the most exquisite historical mansions of our region and meticulously restored, is home to our hotel. Natural stone, timber and metal have been heavily used during the original construction and restoration as we avoided using non-recyclable materials. We applied similar principles when we selected decorative objects in the interior spaces. Vases carved from natural stones and handmade carpets collected from the region are products of local traditions. These are small treasures that we need to pass to next generations.
We aim to use natural resources responsibly, minimizing our energy usage. We try to create awareness among our guests and graciously expect them to support our initiatives during their stay.
We separate our garbage in order to support recycling efforts and protect the environment from uncontrolled pollution. We dispose the waste oils of our restaurant with environment-friendly methods.
We contribute to the economic development of our region by giving priority to local employment and supplies. At our restaurant Gorgoli, we aim to introduce the rich culinary culture of Cappadocia to our guests with our menu, created with local products and recipes. We prefer local, environmentally friendly and sustainable sources for material procurement.
We aim to continuously improve and develop our sustainability performance with feedback received from our guests, employees and all our stakeholders. We provide periodic trainings and regular evaluations to our managers and employees.
As Sinasos Houses, we aim to set an example for tourism in our region with our sustainability practices.
